Colton recalls their first meeting with a playful smile. "I remember seeing a cute girl in class and wanting her to sit by me so we could become friends," he says. Their first date, during their sophomore year of high school, was a perfect mix of fun and adventure. Colton planned an evening at a haunted house, followed by sushi and ice cream. It was an unforgettable day, and Kerry describes it as "so much fun!"

"My favorite thing about Colton is his heart for God," Kerry says. "It influences and directs how well he loves and treats everyone, including me." Colton admires Kerry's infectious smile, laugh, and playful spirit. Less than a year into their relationship, he knew she was "the one." Together, they are united in their love for God, family, and each other, creating a grounded and adventurous partnership.

Colton and Kerry are a beautiful blend of similarities and differences. Colton describes their dynamic perfectly: "My outlook on many things tends to prioritize logic, whereas Kerry often relies on feelings and emotions. But we're both adventurous, value self-growth, and keep our faith as the number one priority."

Their differences complement each other. Colton's spontaneity adds excitement to Kerry's organized planning, while her compassionate nature balances his independence. Together, they create a perfect harmony.

The Proposal: A Romantic Flight to Forever

Colton's proposal was a Christmas gift unlike any other. He planned a magical helicopter lights tour over Fort Worth that ended with a landing in his backyard, where he proposed in front of family and friends. "It was nerve-racking and exciting at the same time," Colton says. "But my favorite part was finally asking the question I had been waiting to ask for so long."

Kerry, swept off her feet by the romance of the moment, describes it as "incredibly romantic and special." She adores her engagement ring: "It's the perfect shape, size, and color. I especially love the band!"
